The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch Receives AAA Five Diamond Award
BEAVER CREEK, Colo. – November 6, 2007 – As the five year anniversary of the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch on Beaver Creek Mountain approaches, The American Automobile Association (AAA) announced its annual hotel and restaurant ratings. For the third time, The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch has been recognized by the organization with its coveted Five Diamond Award. “Receiving this award is about service and our Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz-Carlton are committed to providing the highest levels of service to our guests. It really is their award,” said general manager, John Garth
The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch joins approximately 150 hotels and resorts nationwide that share AAA’s Five Diamond Award. It is the only resort in the Vail Valley to receive this award and one of only three hotels in the State of Colorado to hold this title joining The Little Nell in Aspen and The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. “Certainly, we are thrilled to join the select few hotels in Colorado who have received this award. It is quite an honor,” said Steven Holt, director of public relations at the resort.
The AAA inspection process is one of the most grueling secret inspections in the hospitality industry, often times with more than one secret inspector repeatedly sampling every aspect of a resort’s services. “The Five Diamond Award is about service excellence and service consistency. It is what The Ritz-Carlton culture is about,” said Steven Holt.
